According to the Ankeny Education Association Policies and Procedures, the role of the Negotiations Committee is to complete the following tasks for the Ankeny Education Association:
1) Assist in developing, distributing, and assessing negotiations surveys.
2) Participate in negotiations meetings and decisions.
3) Communicate with AEA members about negotiations as needed.
4) Attend ISEA/PSUU trainings and meetings.
5) Report to the Representative Assembly.
